Arisara Place is an apart-residence in Bophut: several low-rise blocks, a communal pool, a reception and parking. Units are studios and one- to two-bedroom apartments with a kitchen area and a balcony. The format sits between a hotel and a flat — cleaning and service on site, but you can comfortably stay for months.
Bophut beach is 8–10 minutes on foot, and Fisherman's Village with its Friday market and bars roughly the same along the shore. The airport is 10 minutes away, Chaweng 15. It's one of the most straightforward choices for a first long stay on Samui: studios from ~$330/month and from ~$21/night.
Best for: First-time long-stayers: a lived-in neighbourhood, a kitchen in the unit, a pool and prices below the beachfront.

FAQ
Is this a hotel or an apartment?
It's an apart-residence: the unit has a kitchen area and everything you need to live independently, while the grounds have a reception and housekeeping. For a month or longer the nightly rate drops well below the short-stay price.
How far is the sea?
Bophut beach is 8–10 minutes on foot, and Fisherman's Village with its market and cafés roughly the same along the shore — so you can live here without a scooter.
What is it like in the rainy season?
November and early December are the wettest weeks on Samui, and prices drop accordingly. The downpours are usually short, though roads flood in places; more often than not it interferes with neither swimming nor daily life.
